ARTIST

TODAY

I'm currently mixing techno, folk music, cinematic sounds and 90's electronica vibes in my new project Saagan. These influences can also be heard whenever I compose for games, films or TV series.

I'm the co-founder and lead of the experimental art gathering The Glade where Nordic folk musicians, electronic artists, opera singers, actors and DJ's
come together to create a secret folklore rave deep in the Swedish forest.

HISTORY

My artist history includes more than 50 releases and 100 + remixes in the genres of house, techno, soul and jazz. Under my moniker Swell Session I've remixed and collaborated with artists like Ennio Morricone, Mr Scruff, Laurent Garnier and Mark Ronson.

During these years I've toured and played DJ/live sets all over the world.

THE GLADE

In 2019 I co-founded  the experimental art gathering The Glade where Nordic folk musicians, electronic artists, opera singers, actors and DJ's come together to create a secret folklore rave deep in the Swedish forest.

The concept of The Glade is to create a sacred space in the forest using Nordic folklore and folk music as a foundation. By blending it with futuristic artforms like techno and by programming lights in the forest to react to the visitors we present the narrative of age old myths in a way that has never before been possible.

In 2019 and 2022 The Glade was part of The Borderland, a Scandinavian version of the Burning Man festival.

Our event has evolved to include a narrat
ive and many interactive elements, much like a live action roleplay event (LARP).
The participants will get to belong to a tribe, build their own instruments, learn songs and chants. They will get to partake in our performances by singing and playing their piece of the music. And they will meet gods and entities whose voices echo throughout the entire forest via the countless speakers carefully hidden in the trees.

In 2023 The Glade is a separate event, a secret gathering for those invited. Who knows what awaits deep in the Swedish forest this time?
